John Lindo and Ann Marie McCabe

The sound of ‘Take away the Rain’ began
The two stood silent in intended rhapsody
Fortuitous for the audience to see
The moment waited in attention for their participation
Whispering fortuitously in awe of what was about to happen
They both gently began their motion of magic
Slowly there was a stirring in their movement
When it came it was sudden
John led Ann Marie into a myriad of directions
She seemed to leap from his direction
They seemed so in time with their connection
An intrinsic understanding seemed prevalent
Their ‘attachment’ precluded any miss timings
Ann Marie’s anticipation bordered on uncanny
She could literally read his lead
Going there in perfect time with his direction
When she went it was so gifted to watch
Her agility had a rendering of wonderful in it
She slid, leapt, slithered, twisted, skied in all bodily contortions possible
She has such an amazing litheness of lucidity
Her lissomness was unbelievable
Her suppleness inimitable
John’s nimbleness was sweet and delightful
His speed and change of pace was miraculous at times
His timing touched on excellent in its entirety
There was such grandness in their display
The delight in both faces abounded into the ambiance
It’s loquacious effervescence virtually tangible
Their exuberance floated in admiration around them
The exhilaration attended their every motion
All these moved in tandem with their tempo
The articulation continued in an enriching manner
He lifted her at times with an exquisite dexterity
She calmly trusted his skillful handling of her
The empathic connectivity strengthening again and again
Sometimes the term ‘so good’ was not enough
There was so much more to these two magicians of motion and movement
Entrepreneurs of entertainment resonated
Their rendition of the song talked on agreement with the heavens
Fraternization with the Gods was possible
John swiftly carried Ann Marie in perfect time with the music
To positions pushing to the edge of incredible
There was a grace to the carriage
A magnanimity to the movement
An affability and ardor to the actions
A grandeur of gregariousness
A magnificence to the motion
An identity with incredulity
A serendipitous sincerity
A cacophony of capriciousness
They charmed us with their enticing revelry of rhythm
Enrapturing us with their comeliness of candor
Bewitching us with their pulsating poise of pulchritude
Moments like these are rare
People like these two are talented
Sometimes describing their brilliance became impossible and ineffable
That was how good they bother were
At times a sense of superb came to the party
A timelessness was inherent in the proceedings
Tenderly attending this wondrous epitome of performance
There was an embrace of invigoration in their faces
When in motion there seemed to call on time to engage their revelry
Its participation relevant for the deliberation of the dance
Its respectfulness encompassing their liveliness
There was also a true elegance in their interpretation
Their eloquence held a true like a sister to it
Constantly reaffirming their brilliance an brevity
Loveliness was intensely prevalent
Invoking a deference of daring
Their temerity stood tall and statuesque in accordance
For two to perform moves of defying difficulty
Made an unimpeachable and irrevocable majesty manifest
Accolades will always follow these two
They have the talent and fortitude to bewilder and bewitch with their dance
There is only on word remaining about them both as they complete the dance
‘Manifique’ will always echo through the halls of hotels where they dance together
And an eternal blessing has been granted for each future performance
Because how could this not be deservedly so?...
